Alison Parker

Alison Parker, PhD is a science policy professional and was Senior Program Associate in the Science and Technology Innovation Program at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars until April 2025. In 2024-25, Alison served on detail as Senior Policy Advisor for Science, Society, and Policy in the Executive Office of the President, Office of Science and Technology Policy. Previously, Alison was a fellow in the Office of Research and Development at the US Environmental Protection Agency. She received her B.Sc. in Biological Sciences from George Washington University and PhD in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Toronto. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Open Science Hardware Foundation and was previously a member and Chair of the Citizen Science Association Board of Directors.
