Andrea Rincón

Andrea Rincón Carrillo is a Colombian investigative journalist. She covers topics such as organized crime, corruption, disinformation, abortion, and environmental crimes. Rincón writes for Cuestión Pública, a renowned independent Colombian media outlet. Her work has also been published on France 24 and the Colombian radio station W Radio. She is the co-author of the book "New Latin American Narrative on Drugs," published by the Gabriel García Márquez Foundation. Andrea Rincón is part of the Cuestión Pública team, winner of the 2023 King of Spain International Journalism Award for Best Ibero-American Media. She also received the Simón Bolívar National Journalism Award for Best Investigative Writing as part of the Rafael Project. The investigative project also received an honorable mention in the 2023 Inter-American Press Association's Excellence in Journalism Awards.
