Asad Ramzanali

Asad Ramzanali is the Director of AI & Technology Policy at the Vanderbilt Policy Accelerator, Vanderbilt University. He previously served as the Chief of Staff and Deputy Director for Strategy at the Biden-Harris White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP), with the designation of Special Assistant to the President. He joined OSTP after four years on Capitol Hill. He was Legislative Director for US Representative Anna Eshoo (D-CA), whose district included much of Silicon Valley, after serving as a legislative fellow for US Senator Brian Schatz (D-HI). Before entering public service, Asad started his career on the business side of Silicon Valley. He worked on the corporate strategy team at Intuit, then helped stand up and manage an impact investing program funding early-stage financial technology startups serving low-income Americans.
