Darío Maestro is the Legal Director at the Surveillance Technology Oversight Project, where he focuses on litigates and advocates on issues at the intersection of technology and civil rights, including government surveillance, consumer privacy, AI safety, biometric identification, location tracking, data broker practices, free speech, and hate crimes. Previously, he practiced at international law firms in Washington, D.C., New York, and Madrid, and he is a member of the Bars of New York and Spain.
