David De Cremer

David De Cremer is the Dunton Family Dean of the D'Amore-McKim School of Business and professor of management and technology at Northeastern University, an affiliated researcher at the Center for Collective Intelligence at MIT, and an honorary fellow at Cambridge University. He is the founder of the Centre on AI Technology for Humankind (AiTH) in Singapore, a former member of the scientific committee at AI Singapore, with a focus on AI governance, and a member of EY's Global AI Advisory Council. Before moving to Boston, he was the provost’s chaired professor in management at National University of Singapore and the KPMG-endowed professor in management studies at Cambridge University. He is the author of the best-seller The AI-Savvy Leader: Nine Ways to Take Back Control and Make AI Work (published by Harvard Business Review Press, 2024), which was a #1 new release, named book of the month June 2024 by the Financial Times, named a top 10 AI book in the US by Forbes, a must-read book by the Next Big Idea Club, and the winner of the Outstanding Work of Literatures (OWL) 2024 Award for the category leadership. His work has appeared and been discussed in Forbes, the Financial Times, The Economist, the Wall Street Journal, and many other outlets.
