Erik Van Zummeren

Erik van Zummeren is a Dutch technologist and full-stack developer working at intersection of technology, humanities, and human rights to drive meaningful change. He is the co-founder of Raditube, a tool that helps journalists, rights advocates, and democracy defenders understand harmful content and actors on YouTube, the world's second largest website. Raditube is a tool of choice for extremism, disinformation, and digital media experts globally and has been applied by the US Congress' January 6th committee, Harvard's Shorenstein Center, the New York Times Visual Investigations Unit, and the Oxford Internet Institute. Erik holds degrees in History and Journalism from the University of Amsterdam and was a Fulbright scholar at NYU's Interactive Telecommunications Program.
