Eugenia Stamboliev

Eugenia Stamboliev is a philosopher of technology and a media scholar at the University of Vienna and at the Prague University of Business and Economics. She looks at ethical and democratic aspects of 'artificial intelligence' and digital infrastructures, moving between philosophical traditions and media theory. Her interest is mainly in studying un/trustworthiness, democratic participation, and gender inequality in times of 'AI'. In 2026, she is a visiting research fellow at the Oxford Internet Institute (OII) and acts as an ethics advisor on several governmental projects in Austria.
