Gabrielle D. Beacken

Gabrielle D. Beacken is a PhD candidate at the School of Journalism and Media at The University of Texas at Austin and a Research Fellow at the Decoding Antisemitism research project. Her research investigates political propaganda and hate campaigns across emerging technologies (including social media, generative AI) and its democratic implications. She was formally a graduate research assistant at the Propaganda Research Lab at the Center for Media Engagement where she engaged in international comparative work of computational propaganda campaigns across democratic backsliding countries.
