Jacobo Castellanos is Senior Coordinator for Technology Threats and Opportunities at WITNESS, where he analyzes how generative AI and manipulated media affect communities documenting human rights abuses. He co-chairs the Threats and Harms Task Force of the Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity (C2PA), working to embed human rights considerations into open technical standards for digital content provenance.
