Jonathan Mehta Stein

Jonathan Mehta Stein is a long-time democracy advocate and civil rights attorney. He spent five years as the Executive Director of California Common Cause, during which time he founded the California Initiative for Technology and Democracy (CITED). Jonathan was previously the head of the Voting Rights & Census Program at the civil rights organization Asian Law Caucus, a voting rights staff attorney for the ACLU of California, the Chair of the Oakland Public Ethics Commission, and a commissioner on the California 100 Commission.
