Jorge Heine

Jorge Heine is a non-resident fellow at the Quincy Institute. From 2019 to 2025 he was a research professor at the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University, and from 2018 to 2019 he was a public policy fellow at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars in Washington, D.C. A former Cabinet minister in the Chilean government, he also served as ambassador to China, to India, and to South Africa. He has published 18 books, including The Non-Aligned World: Striking Out in an Era of Great Power Competition (2025).
