Kristophina Shilongo

Kristophina is a researcher and feminist who is interested in the topics of participatory governance and a sustainable approach to the development and deployment of technology in Africa. She is currently a Senior Tech Policy Fellow at the Mozilla foundation where her project is critically looking at the participatory governance frameworks applied in the conservation sector with the intent of applying them to the governance of AI and technology. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications from the Namibia University of Science and Technology & a master’s degree from the London School of Economics and Political Sciences focusing on Data and Society.
