Laura Scherling

Laura S. Scherling, Ed.D., is a designer, researcher, and author of several books. Her research foci are emerging technologies, design, tech ethics, and sustainability topics. Scherling is a lecturer at Columbia University. She also teaches volunteer workshops to older adults about cybersecurity awareness. Her new book The Future of Hacking (Bloomsbury) is available in July 2025.
