Matthias J. Becker

Dr. Matthias J. Becker is the AddressHate Research Scholar at New York University’s Center for the Study of Antisemitism and a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Cambridge. He is the founder and lead of the international research project Decoding Antisemitism and a linguist specializing in pragmatics, cognitive linguistics, discourse and multimodal analysis, and social media studies, with a focus on prejudice, hate ideologies, and implicit communication in digital environments.
