Nada Salem is a bioethicist and science writer examining the ethical, societal and public policy impacts of emerging biomedical technologies, including neurotechnology, medical AI and genomics. She holds a Master of Science in bioethics from Harvard Medical School, where she focused on the consent gap in biological computing — a frontier technology at the intersection of stem cell research and computer hardware engineering. Previously, Nada managed national science policy campaigns at Evidence for Democracy, a Canadian nonprofit promoting the transparent use of evidence in government decision-making.
