Omarela Depablos

Omarela Depablos is a Venezuelan journalist and screenwriter who graduated from the Universidad Católica Andrés Bello. She has over six years of experience covering Venezuela’s social and political crisis. She is interested in investigative journalism, data journalism, and visual content with a focus on gender and human rights. She has collaborated with many Latin American media outlets and has been a part of initiatives to promote the right to information in fragile contexts through alternative, communitary media in her country.
