Paolo Carozza

Paolo Carozza is Professor of Law and Concurrent Professor of Political Science at the University of Notre Dame. His numerous scholarly books and articles on comparative constitutional law and human rights law have been published in multiple languages. His current research interests focus on the impact of AI on human dignity and on the rule of law. At Notre Dame, he also served as the director of the Kellogg Institute for International Studies for ten years. Beyond the academy, he serves as Co-Chair of the Oversight Board, an independent body established by Meta Platforms, Inc., to render binding decisions and provide broad policy recommendations on complex content moderation issues on Meta’s platforms.
