Paul Elliott Johnson

Paul Elliott Johnson is an Associate Professor of Communication at the University of Pittsburgh. His work focuses on the history and present of conservative populism in the United States in culture and politics. He is the author of I the People: The Rhetoric of Conservative Populism in the United States (University of Alabama Press, 2022), and holds a PhD in Communication Studies from the University of Iowa.
