Pinal Shah

Pinal Shah is a policy and responsible innovation strategist at the intersection of trust & safety, AI governance, and society. She serves as Senior Advisor at CAS Strategies and Senior Director at the Data & Trusted AI Alliance, where she leads initiatives on responsible AI deployment. Previously, she served as Global Head of Policy for Trust & Safety at Amazon Web Services, and in privacy, security, and product policy roles at Robinhood, Lyft, and DoubleVerify. She began her career in public service as a political appointee at the Department of Homeland Security's Science & Technology Directorate under the Obama Administration after receiving her J.D. from Howard University School of Law.
