Rhea Siers

Rhea Siers is a practitioner in the areas of cybersecurity, intelligence, policy and geopolitical issues. She is a thirty-year veteran of the U.S. Intelligence Community where she served in senior operational, legal and policy positions and as NSA’s Deputy Associate Director for Policy. She was also a Cybersecurity Defense Strategy Executive at Bank of America, selected as a “Cybersecurity Trailblazer” by The National Law Journal and served as a Senior Advisor on Cyber Risk at Teneo Global.

Ms. Siers is on the faculties of Johns Hopkins and George Washington Universities, teaching courses on Cyber Threats and Analysis, Data Privacy and Intelligence Operations. She is a fellow at the Khan Cyber and Economic Security Institute at American University. She speaks and writes frequently on cyber issues including recent Congressional testimony on cyber threat actors, numerous articles on cyber activity in the Middle East and as a co-author of a book on Cyberwarfare.
