Szilárd Teczár

Szilárd Teczár is the editor-in-chief of Lakmusz, a Hungarian fact-checking site and a member of the Hungarian Digital Media Observatory’s anti-disinformation hub. He joined Lakmusz in October 2022 and took on his current role in March 2025. Previously, he spent 10 years as a staff writer for the weekly political-cultural magazine Magyar Narancs. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in communication and media studies and is currently enrolled in the Global Executive Master programme of the European University Institute.
