Summary

Sen. Mike Rounds (R-SD), along with co-sponsors Sen. Schumer (D-NY), Sen. Heinrich (D-NM), and Sen. Young (R-IN), introduced the bill. It requires several financial regulatory agencies to collaborate on a report on artificial intelligence regulation in the financial services industry and requires the Department of Defense (DOD) to complete a vulnerability analysis study for artificial intelligence-enabled military applications, and a report on ways to improve data sharing, interoperability, and quality. It also empowers the DOD to establish artificial intelligence bug bounty programs.
